G2 Definitive Genesis are looking for a new front man/lead vocalist.
We are looking for someone with a vocal range wide enough to comfortably sing Collins and Gabriel material from the 1970s with enough confidence and charisma to be the focal point of our attentive audiences. It is generally agreed that we don't use Gabriel style costumes as we pride ourselves on delivering the music first and foremost.
Further desirable criteria would include playing flute and/or percussion but this is not essential.
Candidates must be willing to learn quite an extensive repertoire and rehearse when necessary. Our current repertoire can be found on the Set Lists page.
The band have been going for more than 15 years, have a well established and loyal following, and gigs scheduled into 2019. All costs (even travel to rehearsals!) are covered, and profit from gigs is shared equally (average over the year ~ £200-£250 per gig). We are based in London and Kent, and rehearse in East London.
